As the Official Timekeeper of the 79th Bol d’Or Mirabaud, Hublot unveils its limited-edition Classic Fusion Chronograph Bol d’Or Mirabaud 2017 For the fifth year running, Hublot is a sponsor and official timekeeper of the Bol d’Or Mirabaud. This prestigious competition allows Hublot to demonstrate its attachment to its roots in Geneva and its love of sailing. Pitting skilled yachtsmen and women against each other, the winds, and themselves, the Bol d’Or Mirabaud is a perfect reflection of the Hublot philosophy. As tradition dictates, the competitors will set sail from Port Noir in Geneva at 10 a.m. on Saturday, 17 June. They must then sail the 66.5 nautical miles — 123 kilometres — journey from Port Noir to Bouveret and back again. Official launch of the Longines Live Alpine Data system at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships St. Moritz 2017 During a press conference held on the first day of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in St. Moritz, the Swiss watch brand Longines announced the official launch of its new timekeeping and data handling technology for alpine skiing, the Longines Live Alpine Data, which is going to be used for the Downhill and Super-G races.


Rado is presented as Official Timekeeper at Switzerland’s top tennis tournament, the Swiss Indoors Basel. This marks the third year in a row that Rado has been present on court at the event.

The tournament, which was founded in 1970, is the third largest indoor tournament in the world, with a capacity of 9,000 spectators at centre court. Every year, many of the world’s top 20 tennis players compete in this unique tournament. From 22 – 30 October 2016, Rado was at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel with its eye-catching corner clocks, timing every second of every thrilling match. Kei Nishikori will be kicking off the tournament on “Super Monday” (24th October) following the opening ceremony with star singer Katherine Jenkins and the Basel Sinfonietta.
