As the first time ever that a player claimed a tenth title in the same Grand Slam tournament, Sunday 11 June will remain a historic date not only, of course, for Rafa, but also for the game of tennis and for Roland Garros. This victory by one of Richard Mille’s earliest partners is the fruit of boundless determination and a clear sign of renewed confidence. The bull from Manacor is back ! He was to give no quarter during his two weeks in Paris. Not a single player could withstand him. Now ranked second worldwide behind Andy Murray, Nadal has yielded only 22 games. With an average game time hovering at 1 hour 34 minutes, the Majorcan was not compelled to exhaust his reserves of strength and confronted the Swiss player Stan Wawrinka in the final match under optimal conditions. The king of clay as he is known, first crowned in Paris in 2005 at 19-years old, dashed the hopes of his rival in just 3 sets and less than two hours of play. He dominated the match with two formidable weapo

Since 2010, Richard Mille and Rafael Nadal have developed remarkable watches, via a collaboration unique in the history of watchmaking, and the latest of these is no disappointment. In terms of shock resistance, the tourbillon movement expands the horizons of technical performance. Aesthetically, the timepiece alludes to the Spanish tennis champion’s masterful character. Roland-Garros was an obvious choice of venue to present this new timepiece. Clay courts are the preferred playing surface for Rafael Nadal, nine-time winner of the French Open, who knows how to play to his strengths. Slow and sensitive, clay calls for an aggressive playing style that nonetheless respects the fundamental principles of the discipline. Likewise, this new watch reconciles innovations at the level of materials with a testament to horological architecture. Clay courts are known for ampli ed effect. You might say the same of the RM 27-03, given the striking red and yellow hues of its Quartz TPT

As Main Partner of Les Voiles, Richard Mille was present at the starting line, accompanying the 1,100 sailors who participated throughout the weeklong event. The brand also took this occasion to inaugurate its first boutique in the Caribbean. This year, the poster for Les Voiles was created by renowned street artist and Richard Mille partner Cyril Kongo. Painting on a vintage sail, Kongo approached it as he would any other type of surface: ‘because the cloth is more porous than canvas, the colour masses appear a bit worn, more pastel: it’s interesting. So, even after the fact, you can reconstruct how the work took shape, because the gestures and movements of the spray can over the sail take on a weathered appearance. It’s as though I had breathed life back into it, simply by inscribing “Les Voiles de St Barth” across it using my graphic vocabulary.’ Distributed among 70 crews competing in 9 different classes, the seafarers all set sail under middlin

Waging an all-out battle, he struggled against Artem Markelov and Norman Nato, both seasoned drivers in this discipline. The skill and discipline of this young prodigy allowed him to secure a third-place on the podium, but this blazing start only whet his appetite. On Sunday 16 April, the rookie would settle for nothing less than victory.
While leading the sprint race, Charles undertook a tyre change just 9 laps before the nish. This daring move forced him to give the race his all. He proceeded to gain on the leading drivers at a rate of three to four seconds per lap, ying

It’s the concrete result of a
